DEATH UNDER CHLOROFORM.

Wellington, Thursday. At the inquest on the body of William Glenn, who died while under chloroform, the medical evidence provi-d that examination before death showed that while the heart was weak and one lung not n-orking very well, there was no apparent danger fio:n administration of the drug. Shortly after the druc was administered the patient began to struggle, and the administration was continued, as it was less dangerous to do so than to stop it. The jury returned a verdict, " That death occurred from rupture of the heart, resulting from a diseased condition and struggling while under chloroform." ______________
