HAMILTON SPORTS.

TO THK HDITOK. Sir, —In inspect to the matter of an athletic ground for Hamilton West, Mr Swarbriok does not stand alone. Sydney Square is quite capable of fulfilling all the requirements of local athletes and spotting clubs for some time to come. If a recreation ground is wanted for the borough on this side of the liver, the most desirable spot worthy of the attention of Hamilton patriots is the Domain Reserve bordering the lake. From all accounts there is reason to suppose that there aie motives, other than the mere love of sport, actuating the promoters of the 24th May meeting at branktou.—l am, etc., A.MATEUK Sl'OllT. Hamilton West.
