GERMAN POLITICS.
Berlin, March 22. Herb. Bacuern, speaking on behalf of the clerical party in the Reictißtag, said it was tho chief duty of the Chamber to grapple with domestic aud social questions. The floet was adequate for the preservation of peace* aud an attempt to erect a German hegeniouy in Europo would not bo justified. The centenary birth of William the Great is being celebrated throughout Germany with great enthusiasm.
