SALE OF KAURI TIMBER.
(BY TELEC-r.APn—OWN correspondent). Auckland, Last Night. At the Waste Lands Office, 100,000 superficial teet of dead, singed and green kauri was sold by auction. It is situ ated on Block V. of the Opuawhanga survey district in the County. The upset price was £o3o, but the timber was sold to Messrs Jaeger and Parker for £00!).
