lADIES V. GENTLESIKN. An interesting match, Ladies v. Gentlemen, eventuated upon Mr Ticker's cricket-green, at.Tuhikaramea, on Wednesday last, and resulted after an enjoyable game, in which some of the lulies showed themselves no mean; adepts, at handling the willow, in a. win for the gentlemen by five wickets. Tea, and refreshments were provided by the ladies, the function winding up with a pleasant dance at the school-room in the evening where excellent music was provided by Messrs H. Davys and C. Drabble. The following are the scores :

The return match between the above clubs was played on March 6tl i at Hamilton. Both teams were weakered by the abs-ence of some of their leading players.
