We quote : Maize on wharf, 2s 6d to 2s 8d per bushel, ex store, 2s lOd ; feed oats, 2s 6d to 2* 7d ; seed oats, 2s 9d ; bran, £3 15s to £4 ton ; Southern lye grass, 4s 6d to 5s bushel; Poverty Bay rye, <h to 63 Od ; Italian rye, 4s 9d ; cocksfoot, 6s Od to 7s Od. Horses : An . unusually large number was brought forward, but mostly of «-. light stamp, which were more than sufficient for requirements. The entries for disposal by auction at the Durham Yards on Fridaywere larger than usual, and most of the lots were cleared.
