CRETAN CRISIS.
GARIBALDIANS OFFER AID. London, March '3. The Powers have warned Greece that they will resort to coercive measures unless the Greek fleet and troops withdraw from Crete within six days. Constantinople, March 4. The Powers have notified the Porte that the gradual withdrawal of the Turkish troops from Crete is necessary. A Turco-European military convention will settle the details. The Porto claims that the Governor of Crete must be an Ottoman subject. Athens, March 4. The Greek Government has recalled Admiral Keinich, the Commodore of the fleet, on the ground that lie was too friendly with the admirals of the foreign fleets. Eicciotti Garibaldi has wired to the President of the Greek Chamber that a hundred thousand Garibaldians will assist Greece if she declares war against Turkey. There is intense excitement in Greece, and the populace are defiant.
