C. 8., Te Kuiti.—ln 1890 Halkett won the Maiden, 250 Hurdles, the three stages of the Cup, and the Obstacle Race at the Hamilton Athletic Club's meeting of? that year, but was disqualified for not having sent in previous performances.—At the last meeting of the Hamilton Athletic Club, Swan gave J. 11. Smith 50yds and a beating in the One Mile.
