FUNERAL HONOURS.
PAID TO LATE MR. RAMSAY MACDONALD. SERVICE AT ABBEY. LONDON, November 26. Royalty, statesmen, humble friends and one-time political enemies joined at Westminster Abbey to mourn the late Mr Ramsay MacDonald. The Duke of Gloucester represented the King, and most of the members of Cabinet were present. The Archbishop of Canterbury took part in the service. The coffin, covered by the Union Jack and masses of flowers, was borne from his former home in Hampstead. The Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. Neville Chamberlain, Sir John Simon, Earl de la Warr, Earl Baldwin, Major C. R. Attlee, Sir Walter Citrine, Sir Archie bald Sinclair, Mr Graham Kerr and Mr G. A. Morrison, were pall-bearers. Mr W. J. Jordan represented New Zealand. After the service the coffin was carried to Golders Green Crematorium, where a private service was held. The ashes were later taken to Lossiemouth.
