Miss Jean Batten landed at Alor Star at 12.25 a.m., Greenwich mean time, and took off at 3.25 a.m. for Rangoon, where she will spend the night. ARRIVAL AT RANGOON. (Received Wednesday, 11.30 p.m.) RANGOON, October 20. Miss Batten arrived at 4.36 p.m. Burma time. BROADBENT DELAYED. LONDON, October 19. Fog further delayed the start of Mr, H. F. Broadbent’s flight to Darwin. He is hopeful of setting off to-morrow.
