Ewes, u/48, 4d; 49/56 3 7-8 d; 57/64, 3 5-8 d; 65/72, 3 5-Bd. New Zealand Lambs: Canterbury, u/36, 7|d; 37/42, 7 5-8 d; 43/59, 7fd; second quality, average about 31, 7 3-Bd. New Zealand Chilled Beef: Ox hinds, s}d; fores, 3d. Lamb Market: Very firm with all prices higher. Consumption continues excellent.
Mutton Market: Wethers .firm owing to short spot stocks. Ewes,' steady. Beef Market: Frozen beef quiet with prices unchanged. Chilled beef slightly easier this week owing to heavy supplies and muggy weather. New Zealand Porker Pigs: Trade slow but firm.
New Zealand Baconer Pigs: Steady, with prices unchanged.
