MEETING THIS MONTH.
GRANDIOSE ANNOUNCEMENT. “EVENT OF UNIQUE & SUPREME IMPORTANCE.” BERLIN, September 3. It is officially announced that Signor Mussolini will visit Herr Hitler in the second half of this month. “It is an event of unique and supreme importance that the creator of Fascist Italy and the creator of National Socialist Germany shall meet personally,” states the official announcement. TRIUMPHAL ENTRY. “DECISIVE FACTOR IN PEACE OF EUROPE.” (Received Sunday, 6.30 p.m.) ROME, September 4. Signor Mussolini’s visit to Germany will extend from September 24 to September 29. He will be accompanied by Signor Starace, Fascist General Secretary. He will make a triumphal entry to Berlin with Herr Hitler. The newspapers declare the visit to be a decisive factor in the peace equilibrium of Europe.
