AIR FORCE PILOT KILLED. TWO OTHERS PARACHUTE SAFELY. LONDON, April 30. "While three single-seater 'Royal Air Force fighters were flying in formation in Hampshire, one machine which was slightly above the others suddenly nose-dived, colliding with the others. All the planes were shattered, the debris being spread over half a mile. Two of the pilots escaped by means of their parachutes. The third was trapped in the cockpit and killed. The Air Force death roll for 1937 is now 41.
