NO FURTHER NOTIFICATIONS IN WAIRARAPA. JxEFOBTS FROM OTHER CENTRES. There were no further notifications of infantile paralysis in the Wairarapa during the week-end. WELLINGTON PATIENTS. WELLINGTON, May 1. No positive- cases of infantile paralysis were reported in Wellington during the 24 hours ended at noon today. Two suspects were admitted to the Wellington Hospital for observation, one, a girl of eight years from Plim merton, being admitted last night, and the other, a girl of 10$ years from Moxham Avenue, being notified this morning.—(P.A.) SECOND WANGANUI CASE. WANGANUI, May 2. Another case of infantile paralysis, the second in Wanganui, was notified on Saturday, the victim being a boy aged two years, from Castlecliff. The case is diagnosed as positive, but in a mild form.—(P.A.) TARANAKI NOTIFICATIONS. NEW PLYMOUTH, May 2. Two cases of infantile paralysis, both of a mild nature, were reported at Moturoa, New Plymouth, yesterday. Both patients were three years of age and were affected by weakness in the limbs. Schools in the district will not be closed.—(P.A.) POSITION IN CHRISTCHURCH.

CHRISTCHURCH, May 2. A" woman, aged 38, from the suburb of Sumerfield, died in the Public Hospital late last night from infantile paralysis. She was admitted earlier in* the evening suffering from paralytic fever. An earlier case occurred in the same house, but the first patient is making good progress. A child aged two and a half years has been admitted to the hospital as a suspect. Two cases admitted on Friday have been diagnosed as negative.—(P.A.)
