ACTIVITIES OF EDUCATIONAL WEEK.

Girls attending the Country Girlfe’ Educational Week were treated to an interesting and instructive programme yesterday. After the roll call, a demonstration of first aid work was given by members of the St. John Ambulance Brigade, while later in the morning a visit was paid to the Central School museum, Two excellent lectures and demonstrations were given in the afternoon, the first being "Furniture Renovation/’ by Mrs. P. R. Welch and the second ‘ ‘ Salad Making etc., by Miss H. Sumpter. Last evening a most instructive lecture on "Early Vocal Music’’ was given in -the Parish Hall by Mrs. J. H. Fieldhouse. The week will be brought to a close to-night.
