HIGH WOOL PRICES.

RESTRICTION OF JAPANESE BUYING. > INDUSTRIAL & ECONOMIC PROBLEMS. (Received This Day, 0.25 a.m.) -TOKIO, October 5. The "Asahi” reports that owing to the Japanese boycott, Australian wool prices have soared elsewhere and so far this season Japan actually has bought only 60,000 bales from South Africa and South America. Worried industrialists are proposing a drastic reduction in the output of blankets, which, however, is unacceptable to the Government. Consequently, it is anticipated that industrialists will demand that the Government substantially indemnify them for losses due to the boycott of Australian goods.
