DANNEVZRKE v. WA.Tp.ARAPA ' TO-MORRQW. | CONTESTS AT AKURA. Arrangements have been completed for the coursing contests to be held at the Wairarapa Coursing Club’s encloeure at Akura to-morrow between teams of Wairarapa and Dannevirke dogs. Theh teams will be as follow.—Open Stake: Dannevirke dogs, Mrs E. Walker’s Just Terms, Mr. E. Mclntosh Is Silver do Oro, Mr. C. Erickson’s Puketoi Magic, Mr. H. Wood’s Wild Chase; Wairarapa, Mr. H. Duley’s Rereatu, Messrs Archer Bros.’ Slippery, Mr. L. Fulton’s Little Wonder, Mr. E. J. Wing’s Why Worry. Maiden Stake: Dannevirke, Mr. C. Christensen’s Some Speed, Mr. F. Morgan’s Better Days, Mr. C. Erickson’s Golden Flight, Mr. A. Beatty’s Lightfoot; Wairarapa: Mr. H. Duley’s Blue Cobra, Mr. C. Butcher’s Fulojoy, Mr. L. Jones’s Gay Laddie, Messrs Archer Bros’ Dark Shadow. The Dannevirke dog, Just Terms has won two Waterloo Cups and two Auckland cups, while Puketoi Magic has been a winner and runner-up at its last two starts. The Wairarapa team contains the pick of the local dogs and keen and exciting contests should be the order of the day.
