Miss G. Robins, “Guernsey,” Masterton, has been spending a few days with Mrs. Power, Greytown.
At a meeting of the general committee of the Red Star Football Club on Tuesday night a motion of condolence with Mr. J. Dwyer in the death of his daughter was carried, members standing as a mark of respect. The death occurred yesterday at Carterton of Mrs. Mary Veronica Huntley, wife of Mr. Henry Stepbaen Huntley, at the age of 49 years. The funeral will leave St. Mary’s Church, Carterton, to-morrow, after Requiem Mass at 9 a.m. The death has occurred at the age of 73 years, of Mr. T. A. Rosy th, of 25 Kent Street, Carterton. The late Mr. Rosyth, who had been ailing for some time, was well known as a farmer in th© Dalefleld district prior to his retirement. He leaves a widow, a son, Clarrie (Dalefield), and a daughter, Molly (Carterton). The funeral will leave the residence, 25 Kent Street, Carterton, to-day at 1.30 p.m. for th® Clareville Cemetery.
