ALTERATIONS TO SOUTHERN TEAM. CHRISTCHURCH, August 12. Through the withdrawal of N. A. Mitchell (Southland) and T. C. Morrison (South Canterbury) owing to injuries alterations have been made in tht three-quarter line for the South Island team. G. F. Hart (Canterbury) will play on the right wing and W. A. Black (Otago) on the left. W. Mann (West Coast) has been moved from the wing into centre. R. R. King (West Coast) will be captain in place of Mitchell and C. H. McPhail (Canterbury) will be emergency back. These alterations are to be confirmed to-mor-row.—(P.A.)
