MINIATURE RIFLES.
MASTERTON CLUB TROPHY SHOOT.
The Masterton Miniature Rifle Club fired another of its weekly trophy competitions last evening, there being a fair attendance of members. Some good scores were registered. The ladies’ trophy was won by Miss C. Duckett with Miss M. Long second and Miss Hubball third. The men’s trophy was won by F. Gray and B. Jenkins, who registered the possible, 100 points each. B. Summers and H. King were equal for second place. Following are the scores:—B. Jenkins, F. Gray, 100; H. King, B. Summers, J. Whiteman, 99; H. Donald, 98; Miss C. Duckett, D. P. Donald, 96; T. Haeata, J. Duckett, H. K. Smith, Miss E. Olliver, B. Wellington, 95; Miss N. Eddy, Miss J. Gray, 94; Miss Frater, Mrs. H. King, P. Russell, L. Rendle, K. McCalmont, C. Dahlberg, 93; G. Murdoch, W. Ferris, Mrs. Henderson, 92; Miss Renner, 90; Miss Long, 88; V. McKenzie, 87; Miss Hubball, 83; H. Cross, 82; Miss L. Renall, 81; F. Dick, 80. The club championships will be held on August 29. Metric cards will not be used.
