TE WHARAU. (“The Age” Special.). Owing to several counter attractions there was a smaller attendance of members of the Te Wharau Golf Club on the links on Saturday for the last day of play for the trophies presented by Mrs Nitz and the captain. The weather was most boisterous and few good cards were returned, the best being those of F. Cotter (56) and H. Paku, with a net score of 69. Mrs Read headed the ladies with a net score of 69.

The competition concluded on Saturday was for the best eight cards out often The winners were: Ladies (captain’s trophy): Mrs Read, net average of 63 for eight cards; Miss Vennell, 65, being runner-up. Men (Mrs Nitz’s trophy): 8. Gray, average of 63 for eight rounds; E. Nitz, 64, being runner-up. On Saturday next a medal round of 18 holes will be played the lowest scorer to become the holder of the Nimmo Cup. The ladies will play for the Handyside Cup. The following is the draw.—Men: N Kummer v. R. Ban nister; W. Kummer v. R. Vennell; P. Ktimmer v H . Paku; J. Bannizter v. E. Nitz; Gray v. R. McKinztry; Elliz v. Cotter; N. Foreman v. F.
