NAZIS SEEKING TO CRUSH OPPOSITION. THREATS & WARNINGS ISSUED. (Received Tuesday, 11.35 p.m.) LONDON, July 7. The "News-Chronicle's” Danzig correspondent reports that the Nazis have warned the opposition that its "existence in Danzig must cease.” Certain opposition leaders who have most to fear from the Nazis are leaving the city. Fifty prominent Communists have also departed. The Nazis have issued a warning that anyone trying to petition the League in future will be regarded as a traitor. A special photographer has been posted outside Mr. Lester's residence to photograph everybody entering.
