M-G-M should thrill with p>ride in having produced such a stupendous production as ‘Mutiny of the Bounty.’ The east of this production, starring Charles Laughton and Clark Gable, displays marvellous characterisation and very powerful acting. Franchot Tone’s portrayal is stupendous and the best performance of his entire career. Each and every one in the cast does a marvellous piece of acting in this splendid production, 4 , . Frank Lloyd, the director, has achieved one of the greatest feats of directing and producing this amazing picture. The photography has been done in a clever and artistic way by showing beautiful ocean scenes, and the rest of the picture is artistically done. . . .
