MINISTER ON TOUR.

VISIT TO NORTH AUCKLAND DISTRICT. INTEREST IN RAIL CAR. WHANGAREI, July 6. The Hon. D. G. Sullivan, Minister of Railways and party arrived by rail car this afternoon and after a short stop, during which the Minister received a private deputation, the party went on te Opua. From there they went by launch to Paihia and thence motored to Kaikohe, where they are staying the night. To-morrow they motor to Dargaville via the Wa’ipoua Forest. The rail car returned to Whangarei tonight. It was the subject of much interest all the way from Auckland to Opua. The Hon. R. Semple arrives tomorrow.—>(P.A.)
