KEEN CONTEST FOR JUNIOR BOXING TITLE. BOUT AT SYDNEY STADIUM. (Received This Day, 0.45 a.m.) SYDNEY, July 5. At the Stadium, in a fifteen rounds bout for the junior welter championship, the title-holder, Alf Blaich Oat. 101 b outpointed Jimmy Day lOst. 2!b. It was the best contest at the Stadium for months. Day was the toughest proposition. He was down for nine in the first, ninth and twelfth rounds. He never looked like getting np but on each occasion he rose and carried on, His zest and gameness thrilled the crowd.
