RAILWAY STATION.
PROPOSALS FOR BEALTTFFYING ENVIRONS. The proposal to beautify the surroundings of the Masterton Railway Station will receive further consideration on Monday next, when a meeting of the Masterton Beautifying Society’s committee is to be* held at the station at 3.30 p.m. to go into the matter. The society, at the instance of the Railways Department, is to present a report to the Department, outlining a scheme. The Department is meeting all expenses connected with any scheme that may be adopted.
