BEAUTIFYING WORK.
APPROACH TO MASTEBTON HOSPITAL.
A meeting of the committee of the Masterton Beautifying Society* h was held last night, the president, Dr. Archer Hosking, being in the . diair. There were also present: Messrs G. G. Tolhurst, E. W. Payton, (X HL Hanley, H. E. Gardner, H .Frost, L. Robinson and A. W. Reynolds. It was decided to make an examiaa-. tion of the trees in Blair Street (leading to the MastertA Hospital) with a view to replacing them with varieties of a more suitable nature so as to form an avenue approach to the institution. Dr. Archer Hosking and Mr. Robinson were., appointed to make the inspection. ’ It was stated that only IS street trees required replacing this year. Thia was considered highly satisfactory.
