THE RUGBY GAME.
WATRARAPA JUNIOR REPS. TEAM TO PLAY HAWKE’S BAY. The Wairarapa junior Rugby representatives will play Hawke’s Bay on Tuesday, June 23 (King’s Birthday), at the Memorial Park, Masterton, the match commencing at 2.30 p.m. The junior sole selector, Mr. J. C. D. Mackley, has chosen the following team to represent Wairarapa:— Full-back: D. Norman (Masterton). Three-quarters: J. Fenwick (Greytown), S. Rein (Masterton), D. Hogan (Red Star). . Five-eighths: J. Steffert (Carterton), W. Governor (Opaki).' Half-back: J. Pauling (Opaki). Forwards: Front row, J. Flood (Greytown), J, Toucher (Carterton), I. Stevens (Masterton); middle row, I. Percy (Masterton), C. Stewart (Bed Star), T. Geange : (Carterton)! L. Welch (Masterton); back row, O. Reid (Carterton). Reserves: Baeks, J. Johnston (Masterton), J. Harris (Martinborough); forwards, J. Barnes (Opaki), R. Davis (Masterton). The team will assemble at the Memorial Park on the day of the match at 1.45 p.m., and players are to provide their own black shorts. Any members not. available are asked to notify the selector or the secretary of the Wairarapa Rugby Union, not later than .tomorrow. The Willoughby—Donald Cup will be presented to the winners of the match. The curtain-raiser will be provided by Athletic (Wellington) and Dalefield seniors. Play will commence at 1.15 p.m.
