VARIETY CONCERT.
MISS STIMPSON AND PUPILS.
BRIGHT ENTERTAINMENT. A very enjoyable variety concert was given in the Parish Hall last week by the pupils of Miss Berna Stimpson. The well arranged and varied items were particularly well carried out and reflected great credit on Miss Stimpson. Three of the skilful performers were only four years of ago. The programme was as follows:-— Ballet, senior girls; clog dance, Patricia Saunders; recitation, Maureen Evans; Dutch duo, Dulcie and lan Needham; dance la Militaire, Noeline Graham; song, Ronald Robertson; sailor ■’s hornpipe, Yvonne Saunders; tap dance, Dorothy Brown; clog dance, Barbara Ryder; recitation, Mary Williams; Dutch dance, Peggy Reid; policeman’s .dance, Maureen Evans; tap dance, Miss Ily Scott; mouth organ solo, Colin Reid; highland fling, Nita Hearle; song and dance, “Mr. Baggy Breeches.” juveniles; dance, Miss Berna Stimpson; Toy maker’s Dream, juveniles; ballet, senior girls; Irish jig, Norma Saunders; tap dance, Miss Olga Corbett; recitation, Wendy Torwick; dance duo, H. Young and N. West; skipping dance, Hazel Lock; military tap, Norina Brown; recitation, Ken. Curry; tap duo, N. McMullen and P. Reynolds; action song, “Boy Blue,” juveniles; simultaneous tap, H. and J. Lock; Irish jig, M.
