The track was firm and there was a good attendance. SILVER RING WINS CUP. DUNEDIN, February 13. The Dunedin Jockey Club’s Cup meeting was opened to-day in beautifully fine weather. There was a large attendance and some fine racing was enjoyed. The track was in firm fast order, with the result that two course records were broken, Silver Bing improving on Pilliewinkie’s Cup time by 4-ssec. and Silver Streak bettering the six furlongs record by 2-ssec.
