SEVERE GALE.

DAMAGE AT ALEXANDRIA. HARBOUR CLOSED. ALEXANDRIA, February 12. A 70 miles an hour gale damaged the Imperial Airways flying-boat station, including the slipways and buoys. The air mail which left London for Australia on February 8 is already late owing to the gale, and all the Indian, Australian, and African services are held up pending repairs. Several merchant ships dragged their anchors. Most of the British warships have put to sea. The harbour is closed, and incoming vessels ftTfi being diverted.
