MEETING OF MASTERTON BRANCH. DONATION OF GARMENTS. rhe president, Mrs. J. Caselberg, pre- •- sided at the-monthly meeting of tha t Masterton branch of the Plunket Society, held yesterday. Sortain-Smith, T. W. Wardell; 1 G. Williams, H. P. Hugo,. N. H. James; Laird Meredith (Tinui sub-branch). Apologies for absence •• were received from Mesdames R. C„ Drummond,’ S. Fletcher, W. A. A. H. Falldon, E. G. Eton and E. J. Wright: (Mauriceville sub-branch). A motion of sympathy to Queen, Mary and the members of the Royal family was passed in the death of King George V, members standing in silence. . The ■ Masterton A. and P. Association wrote 1 enclosing tickets for the • Masterton Show. The president reported that she had acknowledged- receipt of the tickets and thanked the, awoaiatien. Arrangements were made for . the.nurses and some members of the committee to be in attendance at thsplunket: rest room at the Showgrounds. ■on Show days: Accounts amounting to £163, 10s 54: Aere,-passed. It- was decided to make application to the. T. G. Macarthy Tnust fer, a. grant: in aid of the funds oi the Masterton branch. Thanks ware expressed! to Mr. O. A. Nurse Cocker was granted leave, of absence until March 16, Twenty-one children's garments, it 1 was reported, had been made ■ and. ii«toated by High School girls. It va» 1 dfceided that a letter of thanks- he sent ltd the Principal oppressing the comi mittee’s appreciation, of th* work done iby the girls under the supervision of Miss H. Sumpter, Thanks were expressed fpr babies’ clothing received during DpceuJber and January from, the fallowing:—Mesdames A. Caselberg, J. <3;. Broad, C. A. Cameron, A. M.
