SWIMMING.

CARNIVAL THIS EVENING. The Masterton Amateur Swimming and Life Saving Club will hold its annual carnival in the Dixon Street Baths to-night. The first event will start at 8 p.m. promptly. Record entries have been received and keen competition is assured. Arrangements have been made for special seating accommodation. Admission charges are: Adults Is, children 6d. Tickets are obtainable from Messrs Hendry and Dickson’s, Queen Street, and from, members ef the committee.
