RESCUE MOTOR-BOAT.

AIR MINSTRY TRIALS. LONDON, January 21. The Air Ministry is carrying out trials at the week-end of a 45ft. rescue motor-boat of 100 horse-power with a speed of 33 miles an hour. The motorboat, which is similar to admirals’ barges, is fitted with wireless and has a cruising range of 900 miles. It is intended to use the craft to patrol the air route from Darwin to Timor.
