BUILDING SOCIETY.

WORKMEN’S FRIEND NO. l ' MEETING OF DIRECTORS. The monthly meeting of directors of the Workmen’s Friend Building Society (No. 1). was held last night, Mr. F. J. Hunn presiding, there being also present Messrs W. Kemp, A. V. Dixon, T. B. Braggins, E. J. Brown and W. H. Jackson. The secretary was directed to inquire in regard to the payment of balaaces of mortgage moneys still due and to report to next meeting. NO. 2 SOCIETY. The monthly meeting of directors of the No. 2 Society was also held, the same directors being present and Messrs E. H. Morton, C. W. Walker and A. E. Hubbard. The transfer of two shares was approved. A ballot for the appropriation of £4OO was held, resulting in marble No. 68 being drawn representing 4 shares held by Mr. S. L. Jenkins who was declared entitled to 4 the appropriation. \
