(Received Sunday, 6.30 p.m.) LONDON, August 10. “The Times” Simla correspondent states that three were killed and 47 wounded at Shengani, in the Punjab, when twenty policemen fired on a mob of a thousand demonstrating against agrarian reforms. The crowd, including armed-Gats, surrounded the police, who were forced io fire in self-defence. Troops have been sent from Delhi to reinforce the State police.—(“Times” Cable.)
