IN MEMORIAM.
PHILLIPS. —ln loving memory of darling Mum, who passed away on August 11, 1923. At evening, when shadows are falling, Sweet memories saddened with pain, Bring into my heart a longing Could I but see you again. No pain, no care can reach her now An angel’s crown is on her brow; She’s joined the joyous, ransomed throng, Where sin and sorrow are unknown. Sweetly she rests while others sigh With care and grief oppressed; Softly her blissful head doth lie, Upon her Saviour’s breast. (Inserted by her loving daughter, Nellie Chandler.)
