The draw for the first qualifying round of the Carterton Golf Club’s championship to be played at Taratahi links to-morrow is as foUows (play will commence at 1 p.m. and players will drive off in order of the draw): — To commence at No. 1 tee: G. In conjunction with the qualifying rounds for club championships to be played on August 10 and 17, competitions for the president’s (Mr. G. Brown), trophy for those with handicaps of 12 and under, and Mr. J. A. B. Lawrence’s trophy for those with handicaps over 12 will be played. The medal competition played on June 29, in which B. Booth, J. P. Steel and B. S. Lawrence all returned net scores of 06 will be decided on the result of first qualifying round to-morrow. LADIES' GAMES.
