WRESTLING.

MATCH IN MASTEBTON NEXT WEEK. earl McCready v. g. hopkins. Wrestling of a high standard between two big and powerful men is i promised by the contest which is to take place in the Municipal Hall next Thursday night. Earl McCready, the Canadian whose visit to this country has proved one of the biggest wrestling events in recent seasons, will meet George Hopkins, who claims the championship of the British Isles, and has proved himself to be a wrestler of considerably more than average ability. Hopkins is one of the strongest wrestlers who has competed in this country, and he is almost the same weight as McCready. Both men wrestle cleanly and keep the spectators fully occupied all the way. There will be the usual supporting amateur bouts, which will commence at 8 o’clock. McCready has two close wins to his credit against Hopkins, but on both occasions the latter has been well ahead on points at the end. Patrons are advised to reserve their seats at Mr. W. C. Orange’s without delay as a record house is anticipated.
