ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL

INTERMEDIATE GRADE TRIAL MATCH. POSSIBLES v. PROBABLES. A representative intermediate soccer trial match will be played on the Park Oval, Masterton, on Saturday at 1.30 p.m. Players are to be in attendance at 1,15 p.m. sharp. The teams are:— Possibles (colours, black and yellow): Dixon (Whatman), Campbell (Albion), Sanders (Masterton), D. Tooby (Whatman), Leith (Rangers, captain), Stevenson (Masterton), Armitage (Rangers), Searancho (Whatman), Binns (Albion), Larnach (Whatman), Moss (Masterton). Reserves: Andrews (Rangers), Troup (Whatman), Hicton (Masterton), McLaren (Albion), Osborne (Rangers). Probables '(colours, black and red): McMillan (Masterton), Ferguson (What man), Harrison (Albion), Gaskin (Masterton), A. Tooby (Whatman), J. Allen (Rangers), Needham (Albion, captain),' C. Roys (Rangers), Woollett (Whatman), Newlands (Rangers), Brady (Albion). Reserves: Thomas (Rangers), Hodgetts (Albion), McHattie (Masterton), Peterson (Albion), Cretnay (Masterton)’. All reserves will go on at half time.

FIXTURES FOB SATURDAY. Following, are the fixtures and referees for Saturday’s Soccer games in the Wairarapa:— Senior: Wairarapa v. Institute Old Boys, at Park Oval, at 3 p.m., Mr. N. Heyes. Intermediate: Possibles v. Probables, at Park Oval at 1.30’ p.m., Mr. C. Leigh. Junior: St. Patrick’s v. Carterton, at Carterton, Mr. Collison; West A v. Central B, at West, Mr. Weir; Central A v. Lansdowne at Central, Mr. Binns; West B v. Whatman, at Whatman, Mr. Heyes.

WAIRARAPA TEAM. The following players have been selected to play for Wairarapa against Institute Old Boys (Wellington), at the Park Oval on Saturday, at 3 p.m. (players are to be at the Park Oval not later than 2.30 p.m.):— F. Poole, C. Robertson (captain), A. Bell, Ward, Cruickshank Wiahart, Longworth, Russell, R. Bell, Parker, J. Bell. Reserves: Balfour, Stratton. Any player not available is asked to communicate immediately with Mr. H. R. Hill, who has been appointed manager of the Wairarapa team.
