BUILDING SOCIETY.

WORKERS’ MUTUAL BENEFIT. BALLOT AND SALE. Mr. G. Hyde presided over a small attendance of shareholders of the No. 2 Workers’ Mutual Benefit Building Society at an extraordinary meeting held last night for the purpose of allocating £4OO- by ballot and £4OO by sale. Mr. W. E. Chunn was appointed to draw the marbles for the ballot. The successful shareholder at the ballot was Mr. J. A. Siemonek who, being the holder of two shares was declared entitled to a loan of £4OO free of interest. A tender of £54 was accepted for the £4OO offered by tender.
