LOAN & MERCANTILE COMPANY.
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report on the Eketahuna sale as follows: —A medium entry of sheep and small yarding of cattle were submitted to the usual attendance of buyers. Competition was on a par with recent sales, prices realised being as follow:— Sheep: 2, 4 and C-tooth ewes, r.w. S.D., 25/2; 4 and 5-year do., 24/; 5year do., 19/7; fat ewes, 14/10; 2-tooth wethers, 20/4; f.m. ewes, r.w. Romney, 13/9; b.f. lambs, 12/10. Pigs: Weaners, 6/6. Cattle: Forward cows, £2/10/; store cows, £l/2/.
