PLAY IN LADIES’ CONTEST. SEMI-FINALS REACHED. LONDON, May 29. While playing in the third round of the British women’s golf championship yesterday, Miss Olarrie Tiernan, the Irish girl who defeated Miss Diana Fishwick, was handicapped by a badlyblistered hand. She was beaten by Miss Mervyn Barton, the 19-year-old sister of Miss Pam Barton. The last eight players, apart from the Scottish player, Miss Doris Park, are all in l their teens or early twenties.
