CHRISTCHURCH, March 20.
At to-day’s stock sale prices for sound-mouthed ewes were up by 1/6 to 2/ a head on last week. The fat sheep entry was 4100 head. A good sale saw ttieavy ewes advance 2/ a head and export quality 1/. Wethers also advanced 1/, selling up to 30/4. Fat cattle had a free sale, but inferior sorts were down 10/ to 15/ a head.—(P.A.)
