AMATEUR ATHLETICS.
EKETAHUNA CLUB ANNUAL MEETING. MASTERTON COMPETITORS SUCCESSFUL. The annual meeting of the Eketahuna Amateur Athletic Club was held at the Domain yesterday in fine, sunny weather. There was a large attendance of spectators and the meeting proved to be one of the moat successful and enjoyable held by the club for some years. Large entries were received for the various events end competition was particularly keen. The meeting was admirably controlled, reflecting credit on the work of the secretary, Mr. R. Payne, and the various other officials.
A party of members of the Masterton Club competed with considerable success. C. Hausmann won the Fergusson Cup and also the cup for most points in flat events, while E.
