Following are the February averages of cows tested by the Wairarapa Herd Testing Association:— Greytown Group: Cows in group, 1354; monthly group average, 19.301 b. fat; highest herd average (65 cows), 27.841 b. fat; lowest herd average, 121 b. fat; highest cow, 401 b. fat. Gladstone Group: Cows in group,’ 1149; monthly group average, 23.511 b. fat; highest herd average (24 cows), 34.121 b. fat; lowest herd average, 181 b. fat; highest cow, 461 b. fat. Featherston Group: Cows in group, 1749; monthly group average, 19.701 b. fat; highest herd average (180 cows), 28.171 b. fat; lowest herd average, 131 b. fat; highest cow, 481 b. fat. Martinborough Group: Cows in group, 922; monthly group average, 19.311 b. fat; highest herd average (44 cows), 26.561 b. fat; lowest herd average, 141 b. fat; highest cow, 401 b. fat. Pahautea Group: Cows in group, 871; monthly group average, 201 b. fat; highest herd average (95 cows), 271 b. fat; lowest herd average, 16lb. fat; highest cow, 461 b. fat.
