AUSTRALIA’S FINANCES.
TOTAL OF PUBLIC DEBT. CANBERRA, February 15. A statement issued by the Federal shows that the Public Debt of the Commonwealth and States at December 31 last reached £1,237,000,000 of which £394,000,000 was Commonwealth Debt.
