PERSONAL.

The funeral of the late Mr. I. L. Lock took place yesterday afternoon. There was a large and representative attendance of mourners and many beautiful floral tributes were received, including two wreaths from the Masterton railway staff, of which* Mr. Lock was a member, and others from the Masterton Dairy -Co., and the Carriers’ Association. The Rev. E. M. McLevie officiated. The pall-bearers were members of the railway staff. Mr. E. J. Reid left Masterton yesterday to attend the funeral of his father,* whose death occurred at Oamaru at the age of 87 years. The late Mr. Reid, "Senr., was headmaster at Ravensborne School for 14 years before his retirement. Mr. H. Reid, formerly Clerk of the Court and Registrar of the Supreme Court af Masterton but now of Palmerston North, is another son. They will have the sympathy of a wide circle of friends in their loss.
