ODDFELLOWS’ LODGE.
FORTNIGHTLY MEETING.
The quarterly meeting of the Oddfellows’ Lodge was held on Monday night, when, the N.'G., Bro. Baikie, presided over a large attendance. Two friends were initiated into the order and two proposed. One member was granted a clearance to Loyal Taihape Lodge. The report of the card tournament was considered satisfactory. The next tournament will be held on August 29. The Social Committee reported progress in connection -with the next Lodge dance. The Lodge will be examined for Ritual at the next Lodge night (September 3), when a full meeting of members is requested. Card and ping ipong tournaments 'were held after the Lodg'e closed, and the usuglsupper was prepared by the lady members.
