RINTELEN’S ESTATE TO PAY DAMAGES. VIENNA, August 19. The late Herr Anton Bintelen’s property of a value of £200,000 will be used to pay the damage caused by the Nazi revolt.
• (Following on the abortive Nazi putsch in Vienna in which the late Dr. Dollfuss was murdered, contradictory reports were transmitted regarding Herr Rintelen, whom the rebels had proposed to make Chancellor. He was more than once reported to be dead, but shortly afterwards these reports were contradicted).
